Ken has been a registered physiotherapist in Calgary for the past 10+ years. He completed his undergrad degree at the University of Lethbridge and Kansas University. For his physiotherapy degree, he went to the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy.
He has gone on to complete post-secondary training, including Graston and Functional Dry Needling (IMS). He has also completed his competency in Spinal Manipulative Therapy.
His activities and interests revolve around sports and activity. Prior to finishing post- secondary, he played Div I college baseball and subsequently was drafted by the Seattle Mariners of the MLB. He quit school for about 4 years to ‘chase the dream’, but when he didn’t make it, he made the hard decision to focus on education and pursue a career in physiotherapy. He is happy he made that decision as physiotherapy has been an extremely rewarding career. He still plays baseball in a league here in Calgary (FMBA) and will continue to do so until his arm falls off. He also plays golf as much as he can and plans to join the PGA tour in 2053.
He has treated children as young as 4 and adults as old as 93! He particularly enjoys interacting with patients and helping them achieve their goals. “There is no greater feeling in this profession than connecting with a patient and watching them achieve a complete transformation from dysfunction to optimal health.”

His active lifestyle led him to complete a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia, and into a career in fitness and gym management. When a referral to an osteopathic manual practitioner provided him with the first relief in years for some persistent sport injuries, his curiosity, drive to continue learning, and commitment to helping people drove Mack to investigate that path for himself.
